BCT imaging was pioneered in the Laboratory for Threat Material Detection (LTMD) at the University of New Brunswick (UNB) and was patented in November 2007. This research was engineered by Inversa into practical solutions and applications.
The developed technique is the first in the world to enable significant depth inspection in industrial infrastructure, constructed of any material, through insulation, and from a single-side. Industrial clients in a broad range of industries have proven Inversa’s technology capabilities of examining in-service applications not possible by other means. Involvement with NDT providers has been hands on and integral throughout this process.
